Pricing

Plans differ by how many texts and emails you send each month, each counted on its own. One text or email to one recipient is one alert, however long it is. WhatsApp is an add-on, by request: how it is priced.

Team seats

On any paid plan, each person on your team beyond you is a seat, billed with your plan. Every seat costs the price in the row your total number of seats falls in.

WhatsApp

Alerts by WhatsApp are an add-on to any paid plan, with their own monthly allowance. WhatsApp is by request, with a waitlist: on a paid plan, ask on your Plan page, and we review each request.

The price depends on the countries your recipients are in and the messages you expect. We email it to you, and you add WhatsApp on the Plan page. How to ask.

Questions

What happens when an allowance is used up?
Each plan has a monthly allowance of texts and one of emails, counted on their own. When one is used up, alerts by that channel stop until it resets, or until you upgrade, and alerts by the other go on. Nothing is queued to send later. Events from your devices are still received and recorded. We email you at 80% of an allowance and when it is used up.
Can alerts go by email?
Yes. On paid plans, each recipient can get alerts by text, by email, or both. On Free, alerts go to you, by text, by email, or both. A text counts against your texts and an email against your emails.
When do allowances reset?
Monthly: on your subscription's billing day for paid plans, including annual ones, and on your sign-up day for Free. Unused alerts do not roll over.
Can I change plans?
Upgrades take effect at once, with the difference charged prorated. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the billing period. You can cancel from the Plan page at any time.
Can my team use it?
Yes. On any paid plan, each person you add beyond yourself is a seat, billed with your plan, at the prices under Team seats.
Can I text my devices?
Yes, with Relay. A phone number on your Relay list texts the number your alerts come from, naming a device, and IoT Message sends the message on to that device. Each text that comes in, and each reply we send, counts as one alert. Growth and Pro include Relay. On Starter it is an add-on, $5 a month, or $48 a year, billed with your plan. On Free it works inside the monthly limit.
Can alerts go by WhatsApp?
Yes, as an add-on to any paid plan, by request, with a waitlist. Tell us on the Plan page about how many WhatsApp messages a month you expect, the countries your recipients are in, and what the alerts are for. We price it for your countries and volume, and you add it on the Plan page. It has its own monthly allowance, apart from texts and email.
Can alerts go to Slack, Teams or my own system?
Yes, on paid plans, by webhook. A trigger sends each alert to the https addresses you choose, as a signed request: the alert's text and the event's data, or the text alone for a Slack or Teams channel. Webhook calls have their own monthly allowance, five times the plan's texts.
Outside the US?
Recipients are in the US by default. Tell us where you need to send, and we will look at it with you.
